ABOUT EMR:

European Metal Recycling operates some of the largest and most sophisticated processing equipment globally, delivering consistent and reliable end products to steelworks and foundries on all continents. Our recycling capacity includes:
Shredding – eight shredders with a combined installed capacity exceeding two million tonnes per annum shred oversize items such as light iron, cars and white goods and recover clean fragmentised steel
Baling – over 20 fixed installations and 25 mobile baler-shears convert mainly loose new production cuttings into clean, dense, furnace-ready material
Shearing/burning – at most of our sites constructional and lighter gauge steels are cut to standard sizes or to customers' requirements
European Metal Recycling meets all the relevant United Kingdom, EU and US specifications for recycled material and, working alongside its customers, develops new standards where none existed before. In addition, we adapt to the needs of the changing market and constantly update our products to meet industry needs.
Real-time systems to monitor purchasing, stocks and sales, backed by the company's impressive volume of own production, enable our traders to guarantee sufficient availability. What really sets us apart, however, is our ability to work under the kind of time and economic pressures an increasingly global marketplace demands.
European Metal Recycling operates 10 shortsea and 8 deepwater terminals across Europe. The company enjoys direct access to major shipping routes and its experienced shipping agents and brokers are committed to ensuring material reaches international customers quickly and efficiently.
